Alternative Admissions FAQ
The FAQ below refers to Alternative Admissions.
- Submit your portfolio and letter: Applications open 9am on 1st September 2016 and close at 4pm on 15th November 2016
- Applicants will be advised whether they have been selected for interview by 28th November 2016
- Interviews will take place in the week commencing 5th December 2016
How do I submit my portfolio?
You must have your chosen UNSW BE degree as a UAC preference to be eligible. Once you have lodged a UAC application for your preferred BE degree, and wish to apply under the alternative admission scheme, simply click here to submit your portfolio.
What makes a good portfolio?

Bachelor of Architecture

How are places allocated?
Depending on available places, applicants who have submitted a portfolio and are within 10 points of the cut-off will be re-ranked based on a combination of a portfolio and interview scores and ATAR (or equivalent).
